Cindy Wines wants to make a difference.

She wants to save the animals; she wants to save the children from abuse.

She most definitely wants to stop the abuse of both. Thus, she’s created the “Free the Elephants/Save the Children from abuse” website.

“The elephants are very large and have no place to go,’’ she said. “The children are very small and defenseless and they  have no place to go.’’  When there is abuse of animals, large or small, the abuse to children usually follows. If you witness a dog or cat being abused, it is very important to report it to the Humane Society or the proper authorities. These people are sick and need to be reported.  If people think it is OK to beat a dog or cat, it will be OK to beat and abuse a child too.  As Pat Derby says "Elephants bring out the rath in men, when it comes to abuse." They are sensitive, their skin is sensitive and elephants never forget!!

You, too, can make a difference. Join her in her fight to save the animals from abuse in the circus  and abuse of  the children in their homes.

“When you see the abuse of the elephants and tigers when they are at the circus,’’ Cindy  said, “you want to do something. You want to protect them. You want to save them from this abuse.’’ "This madness has to stop. There is no excuse for this."

It’s Cindy’s mission.

Cindy wants it all to STOP.  She’s active in supporting www.PAWSweb.org, which has the oldest and largest elephant santuary  in the U.S.and provides peace and retirement for elephants, tigers and other performing animals from the circuses. Also donate to www.BigCatRescue.org. These are both accredited sanctuaries here in the U.S.

It’s become her passion. You can hear it in her voice. You can hear it in her tone. And you can see it in her love for animals. After all, she’s the proud caretaker of five dogs and three cats.

“I want to let people know that they shouldn’t take their children to the circus,’’ she said. “We live in a too-modern of a society to be making these animals perform acts to the delight of people. We need to put an end to these actions."

Elephants are warm, gentle “social creatures’’ and there is no need to have them locked up and chained for 20 hours a day. Any of the animals in the circus, need to be freed and taken to the PAWS santuary. This place is the next best thing to heaven. The tigers pace back and forth. They don't deserve to be beaten and shocked in order to perform their stupid tricks of jumping through rings of fire.

“We need to stop the circus and what it does to the animals,’’ she said. “It is daily torture; daily abuse.’’. They take in abused and circus cats that may have been taken in as "Pets" and turn into 200 lb cats. Orphan Acres is a horse rescue ranch in Viola, Idaho. I also work with Brent  Glover weekly to help him with his 80 horses. Most of them have been abused or rejected by their owners. In this tough economy, they can't afford to feed their horses so they send them to slaughter or abandon them. All these animals need your voice.

It only takes a little  help from each of you.  Their Mission Statement is to deliver healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at risk children, nurturing their ability to love and trust thereby freeing them from the cycle of violence. Is that not what  we are also  trying to achieve for the elephants? They both need peace and freedom from their cycle of violence.
